Review: Everlasting Hunger by Brandy Dorsch - All Hallows Eve Indie Blog Tour

Everlasting Hunger by Brandy Dorsch.
*Synopsis and Cover from the Author.

Temptation, thy name is Ian Lochlan.

That was the thought running through Ellie Dawson's head when her boss offered to escort her to a local vampire bar. Who would suspect that it was owned by him and that he would be the one to introduce her to all the pleasures of a vampire's kiss?

Passion is a different beast when vampires are involved and Ellie faces love from two very sensual creatures. Tragedy strikes and Ian relinquishes her into the arms of his best friend - Jasper. Ellie struggles with the feelings aroused in her by both men but she knows nothing can stop the Hunger.

Can she survive loving two men and the past that continues to haunt her?

My Review:

I received this book in exchange for an honest review as part of the All Hallows Eve Indie Blog Tour.

What can I say I Loved this book. There is no doubt in my mind that this book is a 5 star rating. I love all things vampire.
I found it hard to believe that this is Brandy Dorsch's debut novel.I've read novels by more established author's that don't read this good. I was hooked from the first page.

In Everlasting Hunger Brandy has explained how vampires have become accepted into society(by most people). The vampires in this book are portrayed as very sexual and non-possessive creatures; the male vampires will openly share their lovers; as is the case with Ian and Jasper.

Jasper became my favourite character and a bit of an unsure start, to start with the way he had been described made me think he was a little creepy. It was just after the half way point in the book that I became very fond of Jasper is location 1770 Kindle, when Jasper stops Ian from doing something that Ian will later regret, even more than what he's done so far (sorry for being so cryptic, the quote is a spoiler)! I also feel that another defining moment for my fondness of Jasper was location 2068 kindle (again any more would become a spoiler).

There are many steamy scenes in this book but not enough to overpower the storyline, which for me was great. There are a few unexpected twists and turns in the storyline and an ending which left me wanting more; to the point where I sent Brandy a tweet asking where book 2 was!

All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I thought as a debut novel it reads really well. I can't wait for book 2 in this series.
