My 4* Review-

Disclaimer: I was given these ebooks in exchange for nothing more than an honest review as part of the RBTL The Nightlife London Review Tour. All images were either provided by RBTL or from Goodreads.

I have read The Nightlife Series Omnibus and The Nightlife London ebooks for my stop on this tour.

Nightlife New York:

In Nightlife New York we meet Aaron and Michelle. Aaron is a normal human male who comes across Michelle; Michelle appears to be in a spot of bother. Aaron’s more primal side kicks in and tries to help the damsel in distress, with some life changing consequences.

Unbeknown to Aaron, Michelle is more than capable of defending herself as she is a vampire. However when Aaron steps in and tries to help, he gets shot. Michelle knows that there is only one way to save him. Turn him.

A life with another vampire who will be sired to her, she will be able to command him to do anything. The idea is daunting but she’s unable to let him die. Decision made she begins the process of turning Aaron into a vampire. Now she has to wait.

Aaron awakes in a strange place with a beautiful woman. Michelle explains everything to him. Then she begins the process of teaching him how to be a vampire. She explains that she is his master and they share a unique bond with which they can always communicate.

And so begins their story of immortal life together...

Nightlife Las Vegas:

After the run in with the two dirty NY Cops, Michelle and Aaron decide to head to Las Vegas, where we rejoin them. Las Vegas is the ideal place for the vampires with its heaving nightlife. There is always a wide choice of prey!

Michelle and Aaron head to a concert, whilst feeding amongst the crowd Aaron spots Anastasia (Ana). Aaron decides that he wants Ana to be his. He knows that feeding from anyone for more than 60 seconds will enslave them. This is exactly what he does with Ana. Michelle is less than pleased and tries to warn them both that this will not end well, but neither Aaron or Ana are prepared to give the other up. So they now become a trio; 2 vampires and their pet!

At a VIP dinner with Kramer; the manager; who is clearly besotted with Michelle and her French accent. Michelle sees the opportunity to make a bit of cash out of Kramer, and agrees to teach him French. Michelle tells Kramer her price for lessons “one thousand per hour with a two hour minimum” Kramer agrees.

When Aaron feels through his bond that things are becoming a bit uncomfortable for Michelle, he and Ana leave the casino and head to Kramer’s room. Once he arrives the situation changes and... (I’m not going to spoil it for you!!)

Nightlife Paris:

In an attempt to leave the Las Vegas heartache behind, Michelle and Aaron head to Paris. Aaron’s animalistic desires make him want to take another bloodslave but Michelle refuses him. Michelle tries to make Aaron feel better by allowing him to relive her past, these revelations shock Aaron and some ways they push him further away.

Little do Michelle and Aaron know that they are being hunted by the investigator who was shadowing them in Las Vegas. The investigator wants Michelle’s blood.

Will the investigator catch up with them and get what he wants? Can Michelle and Aaron face this new challenge and survive?

Bloodslave:

In bloodslave we meet Hope; Hope has a telepathic ability. But this ability attracts some unwanted attention; attention from a “psychotic vampire bitch”.

Hope’s survival is in the hands of Enrique; Vampire Master. Enrique turns hope into his own personal bloodslave as a means to protect her. Helplessly addicted to Enrique’s venom, Hope falls in love with him, and hopes that one day he will love her in return.

Nightlife London:

Aaron and Michelle are tracking and hunting Michael Jamison; the man who stole Michelle’s blood. It’s not just her blood he stole though, he almost took Michelle’s life too. However he has managed to strip Aaron and Michelle of their bond.

Aaron misses his bond with Michelle even though he is now bonded to Urvashi; a fallen angel. The bond with Urvashi has it’s advantages but it’s just not the same as being bonded to Michelle.

Their hunt for Jamison has led them to London, both its smart and trendy areas as well as the darker more seedy areas too. They have also secured the help of two other characters; Ivan and Katya. Ivan and Katya just happen to be werewolves! (Just to spice things up a little more)!

Will they Jamison? And can they all get along? (you’ll have to read it yourself to find out).

Until this blog tour I had never heard of Travis Luedke, but now that I have I will certainly be following the rest of Aaron and Michelle’s journeys.

I love how Travis Luedke creates his worlds; well his version of this world, and his characters too. The writing style is that good that it pulls you in at the start and holds you captive until the end, upon reaching the end I was left wanting more. The books are full of emotions; whether it be love, passion, anger, hurt, fear or excitement (to list just a few) and action too. The sex scenes are well written and tasteful there is no feeling of disrespect towards anyone involved.

Travis Luedke’s writing style has allowed me to feel the emotion that Michelle and Aaron have both experienced, and I have travelled with them every step of the way. I cannot get enough of these characters. I’ve watched them grow and develop through each and every book. I have no doubt that as their journey continues their characters will grow and develop even more.

All the characters both main and supporting have been very well thought out and have been created in such a way that they are believable. Travis Luedke has set and kept to a great pace throughout each book and his attention to detail is great too.
