Oh My Days... Where do I start? This book is AMAZING!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! (OK, enough shouting)!!

Learning To Live (LTL), has introduced me to Ciera and Topher. These two attend the same school, but are in completely different situations.

Ciera; spends here days head down; not making eye contact with anyone in the hopes of blending in or becoming invisible. Why? because there are certain people at school who go out of their way to make her life pretty shit, they make fun of her and try to find ways to humiliate her. After receiving some devastating news can Ciera learn to live and not hide in the shadows?

Topher; is Mr Popular! He's part of the popular group, plays on the football team, dates a cheerleader. Most guys want to be him and most girls want to be his. He's also a part of the group that laugh at Ciera. But when his dad brings someone home to meet Topher, suddenly Topher's world threatens to come crashing down. Can Topher learn that being popular isn't the be all and end all?

Ciera had my heart from the very start! She's realistic and down to Earth. She's studying at school as well as working to help her mother raise her two siblings, and then she looks after her siblings so her mum can work. Ciera's character right from the start had heaps of potential and as the story in LTL developed so did Ciera, her character goes from strength to strength. Even when faced with something very real and scary; Ciera still continued to grow and refused to give up.

Topher on the other hand! At the start my first impression of him is what a complete and utter Dick!!! I'll admit that maybe I was a little harsh. As I continued to read LTL Topher grew on me, and I couldn't help but like him too. Topher had a lot to learn and with some help he does begin to realize that there are bigger things in the world. I couldn't stop the way my heart broke for him. Topher has certainly earned his place in my heart and I'd love to read more about him.

Kira has written another amazing story, that's packed full of emotion. LTL has made me smile and laugh, its made me feel hurt and anger, its touched my heart (well torn it out and shredded it into tiny little pieces) and made me cry too (when I say cry I mean ugly cry). Kira has managed to suck me into the very heart of this beautiful story so that when I finished reading I felt as though I was leaving behind friends not just characters.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every last page of LTL. So what are you waiting for go grab yourself a box of tissues and a copy of Learning To Live!

Learning To Live earns a whopping 5* from me, and I cannot wait to get my teeth into another of Kira's books!

Great work Kira! <3 <3 <3

~My 5* Review~

Madelynne and Parker have known each other for as long as they can remember. After growing up together they begun dating a few years ago. Whilst growing up they have both suffered pain and loss. Parker's brother had committed suicide, and more recently Madelynne's brother was killed whilst serving in the armed forces. So Madelynne is trying to cope with the grief of losing her brother, as well as watching her parents going through a tough phase and looking like they are about to split up.

Madelynne is struggling to deal with all of this and just when it seems like she's handling it better it comes out that Parker has joined the Army and will soon be heading off to basic training. Madelynne is seriously overwhelmed and suggests that whilst Parker is on his basic training that they should have a break; she fears that Parker will end up  like her brother and doesn't know if she can handle that. As Parker heads to basic training, Madelynne heads to Hawaii to stay with family and get her head straight.

However Hawaii holds even more confusion and trials for both Madelynne and Parker. This time it's in the form of Lee. Lee is the complete opposite to Parker, he's unpredictable and a little impulsive. Madelynne feels a strange pull towards him, one that she just can't ignore. So Lee shows Madelynne around Hawaii and they begin spending more and more time together getting to know one another. Could this be the end for Madelynne and Parker?

At the end of Parker's basic training he decides to visit Jacqueline; Jacquline is an online friend that Parker begun talking to help him deal with his brother's suicide. Jacqueline knows everything that Parker has gone through. There's no denying that there is some kind of attraction between them, but for Parker it's not enough, his mind and his heart are set on one girl and one girl only. He heads to Hawaii to go get his girl!

Now with Parker in Hawaii, Madelynne faces a huge decision, the question is who will she pick?? Parker or Lee??

This is my first encounter with Kira Adams, and what a way to start. I loved this book and I was hooked from the start.

Madelynne and Parker are both young and still needing to discover themselves, and as readers we get to share their journey of self discovery.

Madelynne and Parker's story is far from being all rainbows and butterflies, they have to deal with the deaths of their brother's and parental problems too. There are aspects of both Madelynne and Parker's lives that I could relate too. I found it so easy to become engrossed in what was happening to them.

My Forever is packed full of angst, grief, confusion, turmoil and love, all of which are very powerful emotions. Kira has done a fantastic job of capturing and conveying that emotion. The characters are faced with and deal with some very real issues and situations. I think that they handle and cope with them extremely well.

I have enjoyed reading the different POV too. Majority of the book flits between Madelynne and Parker's POV but as Jacqueline and Lee feature more their POV are used too. The introduction of their POV also adds more depth to their characters and makes them seem more realistic. Even though My Forever uses between two and four POV it is at no point confusing, Kira has kept it very clear as to who's POV is being used.

I loved the plot, I'm not a fan of love triangles but I felt that the two intertwining triangles used in My Forever were necessary and they work, they add to the plot. Kira has done an outstanding job at conveying the strength of the emotions that the characters experience, to the point that I too could feel the emotion as if it were my own.

I think that for a debut novel Kira has shown her potential and I think that with each book she will grow from strength to strength. I can't wait to sink my teeth into Beautifully Broken.

~My 5* Review~

Jacqueline is broken, she's had a rough upbringing. Her mother is a convicted drug addict and her father; who knows! When her mother was arrested Jacqueline was taken into care, she went from foster home to foster home, until she was emancipated at the age of 15. After thinking that things couldn't get any worse she was diagnosed with Bipolar too. For Jacqueline every day is a struggle. Then she meets Lee.

Lee is the complete opposite to Jacqueline, he also seems to have just about everything; money, a job and girls practically throwing themselves at him. But Lee still feels like he's missing something, he's just not satisfied. Lee has suffered heartbreak in the past and as a result has attempted to close off his heart, he thinks that if he doesn't do relationships then he can prevent anymore pain and heartache. Then he meets Jacqueline.

Do opposites really attract? Together can they overcome they're demons and begin healing?

The synopsis for Beautifully Broken called to me. Obviously after reading My Forever I had to read this, but even before I read My Forever I knew I had to read Beautifully Broken. I was intrigued to see if or how Lee and Jacqueline might work, I mean they really are complete opposites, but they seem to bring out the best in each other too.

I have really enjoyed the fact that for these two it wasn't love at first sight, they spent time getting to know one another and built a friendship before attempting to take things further. It was also a change to see that the lead male was showing a more vulnerable side; as Lee kept backing away before realising that he needs Jacqueline.

Lee and Jacqueline's characters grow more and more with each and every bump they hit, there is a lot of give and take throughout. They certainly seem to help one another.

Kira's writing style has once again kept me captivated until the very last page. The emotion that Kira has captured and portrayed is once again wonderful, and is very real. Kira has stick with the use of multiple POV and it works incredibly well, there's never any confusion. The flow of her writing is smooth and all aspects intertwine seamlessly.

Beautifully Broken deals with some very real issues that a lot of people face and live with, I think that Kira has handled these topics fantastically and sensitively. The raw emotion have been captured and portrayed brilliantly, I felt as though I was experiencing them along with Jacqueline and Lee.

Beautifully Broken is a fantastic book full of love, hurt and anger but it also has the power to give hope too! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Beautifully Broken and I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.

~My 5* Review~

Oh My Days... Seriously I'm finding writing this review hard, I honestly don't know where to start, why? because I love this series so much!!! OK, so my review... here we go...

At the start of the book we see how they meet on a cruise ship and begin dating then we jump forward to 6 years later and they're living together, and Austyn is wondering if Avery will ever show signs of wanting to marry her. And so begins our journey with Austyn and Avery! (I want to say more but I can't decide what without causing spoilers and that's just not acceptable)!

Against All Odds shows that it is possible for a love so strong that it can overcome everything in its path, its not easy but it is possible. I loved the characters; it was great to see some old faces as well as some new ones too. All of the characters involved in Against All Odds are fab, they are all realistic, relatable and believable. But... Avery and Austyn...well, where can I start?!!

Austyn and Avery are amazing, they're love is so strong and they are amazing together. They face a very real and awful situation, and I think they deal with amazingly (I don't know how I'd cope if it was me). This particular situation was down to earth and certainly could happen to anyone; heaven forbid it does! These two characters show they're individual strengths as well as they're strengths as a couple too, they are quite inspirational!!

The way in which Kira has written Against All Odds is fantabulous. The way she has handled the less enjoyable aspects of life is awesome. Kira has done an outstanding job of sensitively portraying a life changing situation and issues that do affect real people too.

There is so much emotion in Against All Odds, and I felt every last ounce of it, all the love, anger, betrayal and happiness. Against All Odds has made me laugh, cry, scream and shout, it has taken me to the edge of a cliff and had me hanging on the very edge before slowly pulling me back.

Everything about this book had me hooked and I was hanging on every word. When I finished reading Against All Odds I felt as though I was saying goodbye to friends not just characters in a book. This book; well this series; definitely has a place in my heart and is definitely one my favourite series's I have read in 2014!! Kira Adams has earned her way onto my list of all time favourite authors.

I can't tell you enough how much I recommend adding Against All Odds; add the rest of the series; to your TBR list. I hope you enjoy reading them if you decide that you don't want to miss out on this amaze-balls series and author!!!
