This book was amazing. It's full of romance, twists, turns and soo much emotion.

Chasing Cassidy launches us into the world and life of Cassidy Pope. We get to see Cassidy as a child and then as an adult. Cassidy's childhood after the age of 6 was positively hellish. It's starts after the death of her grandmother; her father's mother.

After his mother's death, Cassidy's father moves them into his childhood home; I think he hopes this will help him cope with losing his mother. However, moving into this house seems to increase his demons and he finally seems to lose control. Cassidy bears the brunt of he father anger. Cassidy has been verbally abused by her father, but now things take on a whole level. On this particular day he beats her on the driveway with his belt.

Unbeknown to Cassidy or her parents this is witnessed by one of the other children in the neighborhood; Zachary. Upon witnessing such a horrible act Zach decides that he needs to make sure this innocent little is OK, to do this he talks his twin sister Rylee. Zach convinces Rylee to go and ask if this girl can come out to play, neither Zach or Rylee realize just how much of an impact this gesture will have on their lives.

As an adult Cassidy has managed to continuously battle her demons and the impact her father's actions/words had on her. As we reach Cassidy's wedding day her nerves are eating away at her and her insecurities aren't helping. In the lead up to this day there is someone who has been exploiting Cassidy's insecurities and trying to make her doubt if she is worthy of love, this person chooses her wedding day to give one more push and manages to make Cassidy flee. After Cassidy flees the truth comes out as to why she has fled causing a  huge rift to open in one family.

Tension is high and Zach heads off to track down the love of his life and show her her true worth. But has too much damage been done already?

This is an amazing read. Ms Kelly has incorporated some amazing twists and turns into this brilliant plot. The story that has been woven has so many layers, so much depth and is incredibly realistic. The emotion flows from the pages and I couldn't help but feel connected to the characters. Each character plays a key part and they interact effortlessly.

Once I started reading Chasing Cassidy I didn't want to put it down until the very end, but at the same time I didn't want the book to end. I have loved each and every page in this amazing story.

Another whooping 5* read.

Placing my hand behind her head, I gently roll her over and position myself on top of her. I’m going to make this girl feel the depths of my love if it’s the last thing I do in my life. “I love you,” I whisper a breath away from her lips then cover her mouth with mine. I take my time kissing her then pull away slightly. “I’m going to love you and only you until the day I take my last breath,” I tell her softly before meeting her lips again, claiming them with mine. This time, I kiss her longer but still don’t breach her mouth with my tongue. Again, I pull away just a bit but whisper into her mouth in hopes that my words will not only weave themselves into her mind but also into her heart. “Love is love. It comes without strings, without obligation, without judgment, without fear. It is unconditional and all-consuming. I couldn’t separate my love from you if I tried, so please stop trying to push me away because I’m not going anywhere, baby.”

~About The Author~

I'm a wife, a mom, and a dog lover. I'm also a taxi, problem fixer, extreme multi-tasker, and my kids’ biggest fan in anything they do. I’m married to my high school sweetheart... how cool is that? Margaritas and sarcasm make me happy. Chocolate makes that happiness grow exponentially. People who make me laugh are my favorite kind of people. I believe Karma is a bitch who slaps back hard and mean people suck. I'm California born and raised, and I love the beach but hate the sand. And, of course, I believe Starbucks makes any day better. I’m the author of The Acceptance Series and Chasing Cassidy with more books soon to come.

Review: Life After by Kira Adams

Life After
The Infinite Love Series #1.5
by Kira Adams
Genre – Contemporary Romance

Before her.

I was empty inside. I was lost. I was settling. I had no idea of the potential I had inside of me.

After her.

I was whole. I was happy. I was in love. She made me better.

I never imagined I would find someone who completed me, just to lose her. I never imagined the love I felt could be overshadowed by the deepest depression I've ever lived through.

It's been two years since she touched my life. Since she was taken from me. I don't know that I'll ever experience an ounce of the love she made me feel. I hope I'm wrong.

My name is Topher, and this is my story.

~My 5* Review~

I've so been looking forward to reading this book!! I'm so excited!! *Squueee*

This is Topher's story and what a story it is! Topher has been through so much and I've felt everything with him. But now we join him as he is trying to continue with his life after Ciera. He thinks about Ciera every day and life doesn't seem to be getting any easier! And then he meets Destiny.

Destiny hasn't had the easiest of lives so far either. But Destiny comes across as a tough cookie who can hold her own. she hides the real her behind this hard-ass, snarky attitude. She tries to push Topher away saying that if she let him into her world her could get hurt or maybe worse. But each and every time Destiny needs someone or is feeling a little vulnerable she finds herself reaching for Topher.

Topher on the other hand promised Ciera that he would give everything 100% and that's exactly what he tries with Destiny. He keeps pushing and trying to get her to give him a chance. Just when it looks like Topher might be about to win his chance; Destiny's past comes barreling in again. Can Topher and Destiny put her past to rest once and for all?

At first I wasn't sure if I liked Destiny, I mean Yeah I liked her hard-ass, snarky attitude but if she was what I thought would be right for Topher. But the more I read and the more I discovered about Destiny, the more I found myself liking her more and more.

Kira has created and developed an amazing character in Destiny. Once that hard-ass shell is cracked and the real Destiny is exposed; she is a strong; yet vulnerable and amazing woman. Kira has shown that Topher too has developed and is capable of dealing with so much more than he thought, he steps up and is there for Destiny each and every time.

Kira has thought out and written another amazing story. Life After captured my attention and heart from the start, it drew me into the characters and their thoughts, feelings and lives. Kira has such a way with words that the thoughts and feelings are felt so strongly.

Another Amazing read and another whooping 5* from me.

Thank you so much Kira!! xoxo
